A beautiful example of vintage lingerie from the 1930s–1940s, this dusty-peach satin slip has the fluid, body-skimming silhouette that makes bias-cut pieces from this era so special.
The deep V neckline is finished with delicate tonal lace and intricate floral appliqué, creating a romantic, almost Art Deco-inspired detail against the softly luminous satin. The long, narrow silhouette has an unmistakable Old Hollywood feel.
This is a vintage piece with condition issues and alterations, which have been taken into consideration when pricing. The satin shows age-related surface wear and some variation in color. The hem has some unevenness and is not perfectly clean. There is also a small flaw along one side seam. Approximately 2" of fabric at the shoulder has been pinched and sewn to improve the fit.
